Imaging and Diagnostics
The Parkridge East Outpatient Imaging and Lab are conveniently located at the rear entrance of the hospital and features their own dedicated, easily accessible parking area. The Outpatient Imaging Department provides a variety of services, including bone density exams, digital mammography in the Parkridge East Breast Center and a fixed unit MRI. Advanced digital imaging technology enables technologists to capture and store images electronically, without the use of traditional x-rays. This Picture Archiving Communication System (PACS) allows physicians to view imaging study results through a computer within minutes of the completion of an exam. Physicians are also able to transmit images via the Internet to specialists in other locations for simultaneous review. Patient satisfaction and convenience are our focus and we strive to provide our patients with high-quality service in a timely manner.
Parkridge East Hospital has recently installed a full digital room in the Emergency Department that allows the image to be available to both the ERP and the Radiologist at a much faster pace.
