Breastfeeding Support Group

Parkridge East Hospital offers a free breastfeeding support group every Wednesday, from 1:00 – 3:00 p.m. in The Birth Place classroom. There is no need to register or make an appointment, just drop in during the group time and feed your baby! We have scales available for you to use to determine how much your baby is getting at the breast.  Lactation consultants are available to answer your questions, as well as other mothers who can offer encouragement and advice. This is a fun, relaxing time to bond with your baby and a safe place to bring your baby for their first outing. For more information, call the Lactation Center at (423) 499-2044.
